Dr. John P. Smagner

Dr. John P. Smagner has a PhD in developmental and child psychology from the Department of Human Development and Family Life at the University of Kansas. He also has a graduate degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration.

Benjamin Wessels

Benjamin Wessels holds a master’s degree in the administration and management of social services from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. Benjamin’s past clinical experience includes providing group social work sessions to youth at a community center in Chicago and to adolescents with disabilities, as well as providing direct ABA therapy.

Kathryn Weiland

Kathryn Weiland is a consultant and is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in applied behavior analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame, where she first began her clinical training in ABA.

Mareiko Au

Mareiko Au is a consultant and has a master’s degree in teaching with a specialization in applied behavior analysis from National University, School of Education in California. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Riverside.

Jordan Kaehler

Jordan Kaehler is a consultant with a master’s degree in education. Jordan has also completed his ABA coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology.  His bachelor’s degree was obtained at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, after which he completed a post baccalaureate teacher certification program at Concordia University in Wisconsin.

Suzanne Rudy

Suzanne Rudy is an associate consultant and is currently enrolled in graduate training in applied behavior analysis Penn State University. She has worked with children and adults with autism in home, school, and residential care settings, both in Illinois and Ohio. During her undergraduate training at Bowling Green State University, she assisted in conducting research in video self-modeling, ABA, and other behavioral interventions.

Jordan Shaffer

Jordan Shaffer is a consultant and a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. Jordan earned her bachelor of arts in psychology from Benedictine University and has been providing ABA therapy to children with autism from the time that she graduated.

Alexa Nippa

Alexa Nippa is an associate consultant and provides direct, in-home instruction and support to children with autism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Shondrea Lowery

Shondrea Lowery is an associate consultant who provides direct, in-home instruction and support to young children with autism.

Nolan Kelly

Nolan Kelly is an associate consultant who provides home based instruction and support to children with autism. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Alexx Triner

Alexx Triner is an associate consultant that provides support and guidance for children with autism in a natural environment. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University.

Rosita Tillman

Rosita Knox (Tillman) is an associate consultant and provides direct, in-home instruction and support to children with autism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Services from Purdue University-West Lafayette, IN

Amy Janken

Amy Janken is the scheduling coordinator for CEAS and holds a bachelor of science in education from Northern Illinois University. She has worked with children for the past fifteen years as a teacher, camp counselor and as a line therapist. She now enjoys the behind-the-scenes action involved in creating functional schedules for both CEAS therapists and families.

Cynthia Gonzalez

Cynthia Gonzalez is an associate consultant who provides direct in-home instruction and support to young children with autism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Saint Xavier University and is beginning her graduate training in order to obtain her certification in behavior analysis.

Erelin Deang

Erelin Deang is an associate consultant providing in-home direct support to young children diagnosed with autism. She is currently enrolled in graduate training at Southern Illinois University for applied behavior analysis. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology at Loyola University of Chicago.

Mary Kate Dunne

Mary Kate Dunne is an associate consultant who provides direct in-home support to children with autism. She earned a bachelor of social work degree from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She is currently enrolled for graduate training in applied behavior analysis at Arizona State University.

Christie Griffin

Christie Griffin is an associate consultant who provides direct in-home instruction and support to young children with autism. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and she is currently enrolled in graduate training in applied behavior analysis at Capella University.

Lauren Urbik

Lauren Urbik holds two positions with CEAS. She is CEAS’s on-call therapist, as well as the assistant training coordinator. Lauren helps transition new families and new therapists into the company, filling in on treatment teams where needed and providing additional training to therapists when necessary. Lauren also meets with new therapists to ensure that their transition to CEAS goes smoothly. Lauren earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. She received a bachelors of arts in applied behavior science with a specialty in early childhood autism intervention. She is currently enrolled in Ball State University graduate program in behavior analysis.

Kelly Collins

Kelly is an Associate Consultant at CEAS. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UW-Milwaukee and is currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University pursing a Master’s in Behavior Analysis and Therapy. Kelly has experience providing therapy both in-home, in school, after school, and summer camp settings with both intensive and post-intensive individuals.
